The RNZYS winter series is at the half way mark, and North dressed boats have been holding their ground at the top end of the fleets.
In divisions A, B, and C, seven out of the top 10 boats carry north sails. Charmonet, Nirvana, and Urban Cowboy continue to be near the lead of A division on handicap, with a full sets of north race sails.
In the multi-hull fleet, three from five entrants carry North sails. The newest multihull to be launched, 8.5m trimaran Stealth Mission is currently leading the fleet on handicap. Owner Sam Tucker is happy with how the new set of North race sails are completing the new build.
Across the young 88 fleet, 7 out of the top 10 carry North’s. With the North sponsored Young 88 owner nationals coming up, many of the boats are preparing for the summer season with a few sails on order across the fleet.
